IKEA & OU stories :)

Last saturday, my husband and I went to IKEA for home appliances shopping. Indeed we spent almost 5 hours there. Having quick lunch with a friend of mine who apparently so excited to show us her new baby (i meant her new ride ). Kudos to her, u deserved to have one after all the hours, sweats and tears spending on your job.


Back to our weekend getaway, the trip was something i've been waiting for. Bonding session with my loved one as we rarely had much time strolling along the mall or park like we used to have. Being back and forth to Shah Alam & Melaka, these past few weeks even tiring and driving alone wasn't that appealing at all and i think i need a reward for actually able to write 20,000 words for my thesis. Luckily hubby said, "why don't we spend this weekend in KL, just u and I, get a hotel for a night and shop? what do you say b?". Of course being a good wife i'll say yes with an evil screaming inside (thinking of new shoes, jeans or perhap couple of new clothes hehe). Before i started to think beyond my imagination, my husband smell something fishy and claimed that "b, we are going to shop for our new house ya, no more than that. For any reason in your mind must be kept in view first till u resume your work again". (duhhh..he must have professes a psychic ability).


We left home in the morning and pardon me, we have to take slightly longer route to get there. My besty, eventually waited for us patiently. We first had our lunch in IKEA, yup meatball n fries for hubby n and me can't make up any mind what to eat. My first intention was salmon (ooppsie, wait a sec, i'm not really fancy this fish, why on earth I'm thinking of it). Then i tweaked into chicken whatever with some fries and the infamous Daim cake, yummm !!!!.


Right after, we make a waved to my friend and the stuff hunting started. Silly me for wearing 4 inch wedges for this shopping-marathon.. Fuhhh!!! can u imagined that? Demmit it was hurt ya..
My husband was the only one get excited with the purchases, me??? kinda long faces due to overwhelming sore on my feet. Once we finished with the stuff, we headed to OU..Oh ya, we only bought small things such as, dustbin (dustbin pun nak beli kat ikea, wth..), curtain rods & rail, rug, some fabrics n mirror ). Most of the items for the house were ready to be loaded. Can't wait for that :).

We had some window shopping at the mall.

1. I got my dingy dirt wedding ring buffed at Selberan..

2. I had tried on new Coach leather handbag (thinking of new one?? nope..my husband won't approved that)

3. Dinner and thirst quenched at Delicious. I never realized it was so expensive until i'm offering myself for the bill hehe ( I wonder how u guys KL people live like that, breakfast at Starbuck, lunch at Tony Roma's, tea/ cofee time at Dome, or choco time at Godiva, dinner at Chilli's). Phewwh!!!, perhaps splurging on foods becomes uncouncious habit in KL. I have made few discussions about this with some of my friends and yup, standard of living, has become the urge for this phenomenon (me just inherited calculative part of my husband). No offence to all of you out there. In fact i admitted if i was fronted by these yummilicious foods, i will not even say no to it (My mom once said to me, it's ok to splurge on food, don't be so stingy la)..haha guess i've been stucked to long in my hometown and cooked for most of my time.

4. Hubby bought a pair of new jeans and he eventually asked me to choose one (emmm, i can't say no, can I hehe). Thanks syg :)

We wrapped up the day with hotel hunting. Managed to check in at 12.30 a.m because we were not furtunate enough to get one earlier. Have to booked in advance next time. We were so exhausted and dozed off immediately after a warm bath and prayers :). This is my cue for bye bye..till then

TIERACK OH TIERACK

It is a TIERACK frenzy here in Malaysia. Most people here are aware of this particular brand nowadays. Product range: tie, shawls, gloves, handbags, wallet, etc and especially the well known scarves (oblong, square and neck). I am sure those career women who loves to look chic, slick and style will prefer this scarf because of the designs and of course it is made in Italy (grinned :). I was introduced to this brand when i was in primary school i guess..Having relatives staying in London make it possible for me to have a few collection !! Since that I always fond to wear this..wherenever i go i'll make sure to grab one from my wardrobe to suits my dress..and i am enjoying the moment with my Tierack enormously heheh..Until now my husband always approved this scarf compared to Ariani type..but i loves Ariani scarf too..easy and comfy.

Back to my TIERACK ..because of the humongous response to this brand i've decided to open up an online blog selling these scarves back in early 2009 and Alhamdulillah the acceptance were beyond expectation. But if you ask me what cause the silence of my blogshop..Well, first i guess i'm kinda busy with all the daunting tasks now and I am afraid I am not able to cater all the needs. Second there are too many blogs selling so i'll rather enjoying my eyes looking at others'.

For myself i fancy those chiffon type rather than the satin perhaps my head is more manageable with something flowy and i can style it easily.But still i do have few satins collection..I guess the design is irressistable, can't help myself not to own it :).

Well for this entry i have a major problem..i encountered burning my fav TIERACK scarf ..Poor me :(.. it wasn't my fault it was the iron though..there it goes..A hole in the scarf!!!!!..Lucky me i still can fold it and wear it ..so next time when you see me with this scarf on my head..please be sssshhhhh !!!!

Being impulsive or compulsive????

Lately all i want is shopping for unnecessary stuffs.Though it is just a thought..i'm afraid i might cross the border..you know what i mean right?..well girls always be girls..can't be enuff with a pair of shoes...ohh ya..handbags ..perfumes..(i mean bottles of it )..so i guess men out there ..u gotta make yourself comfortable with it..well i think guys pun ramai mcm tu (including my husband hehe)..

But honestly, i am not that anymore (i mean impulsive buyer)..since i got married, working,studying and now not working..i tend to have a sense of so called "sayang duit"..everytime i wanted to buy something i better be sure that i really need those rather than being compulsive ..errrr...or impulsive !!!!

I don't want to go back at that time when i was early 20s..shop..shop...shop..till you drop..no saving at all..frankly..i haven't purchase any handbags since the day i got married (ye la i dapt 2 handbags sekali for the wedding hantaran) :)..it was 1 year and a half now..so is it long enough to get me a new one...???^^.hahaha..not sure whether i do really really really need it ...sigh!!! mcm big problem pulak kan ???

Well seriously i need something new in my wardrobe now..ok my wish list

1.Perfume..dah lama dah habis..pki scented lotion je nih..so this is must la hehe

2.Handbag...ooh..tak kot..wait till i resume my work again

3.Great vacay...somewhere far okay..errkkk..this is outta topicla :)

4.Shoes...well i have few and all are still in a perfect condition..so pass!!!!!(i have a problem here..all my shoes, sandals, heels have longer life that i can imagine..so can't really find excuse to buy new..)..sometimes i skip this ..

i guess i am still normal n being reasonable n all i want right now is new PERFUME !!!!!!oooh ya and lipgloss .....till then

Being There...

Have you ever heard about the new AEON Jusco in Melaka.????Ok last night..hubby and i went to its opening day..emm..the "jammed" is expected..but since we stay nearby ..nothing to be complained of..Finally setelah menunggu untuk masuk..dapat jugalah kami parking..right in front of the entrance..(since parking memangla penuh)...so we pandang2 la whether the pak guard ada said anything..since tiada siapa yang datang and said anything, we all buat "don't know" je la :)

My personal Review :

Ground Floor...Ok, ok..there are few entrance to get in..i'm not sure which entrance we went but right after , ada deretan kedai2 makan and all that..too name a few..KFC, PIZZA HUT, BASKIN ROBBINS, BURGER KING, ooh ya ada J-CO..(we end up buying half dozen of donuts there :).
emm sudddenly our eyes catched on this store..NAUTICA...ape lagi Mr Husband excited nak go in..then i said..not bad at all..we should look at the First and Second Floor..maybe ada good stores there...

First Floor...okla the way it looks..macam inside one of the Mall in KL..But too bad most of the stores semuanya not that appealing..bukan la kata x best..it just that i wonder why the big brands do nat have any gut to invest there...tak tau la nanti coz ada juga few stores yang still empty..maybe soon la kot :)..so first floor ni banyak kedai2 baju, shoes..ooh ade A/X wannabe store..okla tu kan :)..shoes2 pun..Hush Puppies, Vincci, while Clothing Line Padini concept, and few yang jenama nya never heard before.. brand concious??not really..it just we need something or brands yang rasa2 nya ok and can afford by people...it doesn't mean the luxury brands ok..like GUCCI, RL, and etc2...itu memangla tak mampu..but if ada GAP ke, MNG, Topshop, Forever 21, DP, Guess,Accessorize and things like that..baru la ada ummmph ..ke those brand tak boleh open in this kind of Mall..(tak rasanya)

Second Floor...ok baby's clothing and all the gadget thingy..so those yang interested nak beli laptop ke..can go there la ..nothing much ...

I think that is all ..about the Jusco itself..not bad..i don't really explore inside cause there are huge number of people..shopping..!!!!

But the Market Hall ( groceries and food court area) looks great..the food looks delish :). Thinking juga to have dinner there but crowded la..maybe next time :)

Well..those yang nak pergi..i think these few days memang agak crowded sikit..but try give it few more days..things will be under control.. ;)

The best part is the food galore there..mcm2 range of fast food ada..so after this jarangla pergi ke MP.. to get a bite of burger king ..naahhh..it just around there..dekat pun dekat dgn rumah.Inside pun very cosy and ade place for resting setelah penat bershopping..
